DOUBLE VICTORY- The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen in Their Own Words

On November 7, Lucasfilm presented a special screening of the documentary Double Victory – The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen in Their Own Words at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City. The event hosted by Ed Gordon from BET Weekly, followed by a Q&A with the original Tuskegee Airmen gave an in-depth understanding of their part in history through personal stories.

The documentary is set to air January 2012 on the History Channel. In addition, Red Tails, which is inspired by stories of the Tuskegee Airmen, is expected to show in theaters January 20, 2012.
