Thanksgiving Thoughts

I hope all of you had a very HAPPY Thanksgiving filled with fellowship and great cuisines! As I reflect on my adventures from last year to this date, I’m constantly reminded of all the things I’m GRATEFUL for! My laundry list of “THANKS” stretches beyond measure. However, I’m most grateful for God’s grace, my family, friends, and adopted brothers and sisters.

Everyday should be a day of THANKS and appreciation for every moment in our lives. It’s through these times that lessons are learned and we can continue to develop as a people.  Ms. Diana Ross’ song “Reach Out and Touch” sets the tone for giving THANKS by helping others along our journey. DOUBLE VICTORY- The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen in Their Own Words

On November 7, Lucasfilm presented a special screening of the documentary Double Victory – The Story of the Tuskegee Airmen in Their Own Words at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in New York City. The event hosted by Ed Gordon from BET Weekly, followed by a Q&A with the original Tuskegee Airmen gave an in-depth understanding of their part in history through personal stories. Entertainment Pundit Jawn Murray and EMI Gospel joined efforts to release Jawn Murray Presents: UNTAPPED. The compilation features skyward lauds from 10 chosen gospel artists who were selected from a judging criteria set by EMI Gospel based on feedback from Murray along with celebrity judges including Dr. Bobby Jones (Bobby Jones Gospel), singer and TV talent Lexi, Grammy/Stellar nominee Vashawn Mitchell, and radio host Gerard Bonner (Bonnerfide Radio).
