Live…Breathe…Survive…

On Saturday, August 11, 2012, Live… Breathe…Survive… showcased the talents of emerging artists and designers through a charity event supporting cancer research at the ZAHZO gallery in Chelsea, NY. This event was dedicated in memoriam of Joseph Pugh and Margo Basset as well as to raise funds for the American Cancer Society in order to aid care and research for cancer patients.

Celebrating Culture in ‘The Boogie Down Bronx’

On Friday, August 3, The Bronx Salsa Fest kicked off its month long celebration starting at the Pregones Theater in Bronx, NY for a documentary screening of “From Mambo to Hip Hop: A South Bronx Tale”. A film by Henry Chalfant, Elena Martinez, and Steve Zeitlin, gave the history of the Bronx and explained the birth of the salsa and hip-hop movement.
