The city of Jacksonville celebrated their 27th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Friday, January 17 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center in Jacksonville, FL. Soledad O’Brien, former CNN journalist and CEO of Starfish Media Group was the featuring Keynote Speaker on this commemorating event which honored Martin Luther King’s legacy. What better way to celebrate life, than to observe an occasion on a weekend where our country also saluted those who have served our nation. On Sunday, November 10, 2013, L.J Holloway & Associates, Inc. presented “An Evening with Will Downing” to support the 7th Annual “Celebration of Life” Benefit Concert at the Florida Theater. A concert celebration, which was ‘fund-filled’ to award scholarships to deserving students majoring in the disciplines of health and science where they are underrepresented.

Love has definitely taken over with the support of many to raise funds for the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) scholarship recipients. On Thursday, March 28, AT&T presented, “An Intimate Evening with Chante’ Moore” at the Al Hambra Palace in Chicago to support students involved in the organization. The evening started with a private VIP reception which allowed guest to enjoy complementary hors d’oeuvres as well as have a meet and great with the R&B songstress, Chante’ Moore.
