Christmas Thoughts

Dear Friends,

As the presence of Christmas cheer draws near, I often think about the true meaning of this celebration. Shoppers in stores looking to explore and spend on holiday galore, joyful tunes on the radio in which we all adore, and even the beautiful festive décor. Oh how I love this time of year, but what is the true meaning of all this holiday cheer?

Christmas is a jubilee to glorify Jesus! Without his birth, we would not have experienced his everyday gifts of JOY, LOVE, and PEACE. Can you think of a time when you had an uncontrollable laugh? Experienced love from someone and felt the affection through your spirit? Or slept like a baby when you went for rest? All of your recollections are invaluable gifts we received from our Savior and are treasures which will last for eternity.

As I celebrate this wonderful time of the year, I wish for my light to shine even stronger since I’m given favor from my father everyday.  Christmas to me means more of Christ! As I gleam with more of him, I hope to reflect his JOY, LOVE, and PEACE which will sparkle into someone else’s life.  Whether it’s an action of a smile, a hug, or maybe even a kind gesture of telling someone, “It will be alright”. More of Christ is what we could use, and no matter where we are placed in our life, he will meet all our needs, all for God’s glory and your good!

Wishing you and yours a Blessed Holiday Season!
