You Gotta Make it Happen!
A recent trip to the Sunshine State is all I needed to revitalize my spirit and relieve me from the hustle and bustle of the city. The humidity, greeting from loved ones, authentic southern treats no one can beat, palm trees, and flowing waters made me realize there’s no place like home!
Before I left good ole’ Florida for my new adventures in life, I had several mottos, scriptures, and phrases I went by. However, a therapeutic stroll through town in an area that reminded me of the Big Apple struck my attention and I pondered back upon the question I asked myself prior to leaving: “What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?”
This question is so powerful and I’m sure everyone can come up with a laundry list of possibilities for themselves. Maybe owning a business, moving to an unknown city, going to school, hanging with a different center of friends, relinquishing something which makes you feel oppressed, and the list could go on.
While we have these many possibilities, why is it some of us battle internal fear and failure instead of keeping a mindset that we are “ALL THAT” and as long as we try we have already put an action to finding a solution. Today, and this week, I challenge you, to do something you have never done, go somewhere you’ve never ventured, and be someone you’ve never been inspired to be and know you can’t fail unless you didn’t try. Watch yourself in those few days develop something internal where you blossom and grow into an individual of confidence where you too can say, “I’M ALL THAT _______”!
Thanks for the company,
