East Harlem Multi-Cultural Festival

Despite the scorching heat, I love what the summertime brings out in communities throughout the city!  Whether it’s street fairs, block parties, recreational activities, or my favorite, BBQ’s, it’s always something to get into. A Saturday trip uptown allowed me to experience the East Harlem Multi-Cultural Festival at La Placita de La Marqueta in El Barrio, NYC.

A cultural experience it was to have a live Cuban band keeping the community moving to the salsa and cha cha beats.  The festival had a friendly crowd with spicy Latin dancing! It was an absolute great time with a dancing flair to celebrate the roots of El Barrio!

Of course, All that Jazz showed her salsa dance moves at the festival, but let me tell you, All that Jazz is a bit better on the hardwood dance floor than concrete ground. But, street salsa dancing is always more fun and allows you to experience the culture even more!!

CHECK, All that Jazz out when she’s on a hardwood dance floor —–>
