What better way to spend an adventure this week then to have one with a friend whom you haven’t seen in years come to the “Big Apple” and also become acquainted with a new extension for the clique. While hanging out with a dear friend, we shared our current life stories, made new stories, and reminisced on how we created this story in the first place. Different versions were thrown because of excitement, but finally the story was aligned to make us realize our course for today. If it wasn’t for the people in our lives, the love of music, and an artist by the name of Raphael Saadiq, a friendship would have never been garnered into the one established today.

The beauty of life is we never know who, what, when, where, or how these paths will be crossed, but every day as the story develops, that person continues to close chapters and start new ones. In the end of each chapter, the encounters experienced along the journey will become a blueprint for that individual to follow as they continue their course. One of my favorite sayings is, “Make a mark that can never be erased,” this saying expresses LIFE in general because while someone you meet may not remember your name or title, they will always remember how you made them feel. Did you inspire them to go above and beyond, did you give them kind words of wisdom, did you spread love to them when no one else would, did you tell them, “YOU’RE ‘ALL THAT’ ” !

While the hustle and bustle of life makes us grind to make it to the top expeditiously, take some time out to breathe and enjoy life by helping life! It’s our turn to sing and make a melody together along this course on our journey…
