Love has definitely taken over with the support of many to raise funds for the United Negro College Fund’s (UNCF) scholarship recipients. On Thursday, March 28, AT&T presented, “An Intimate Evening with Chante’ Moore” at the Al Hambra Palace in Chicago to support students involved in the organization. The evening started with a private VIP reception which allowed guest to enjoy complementary hors d’oeuvres as well as have a meet and great with the R&B songstress, Chante’ Moore.
On Saturday, March 23rd, COMMON, Grammy Award Winning Artist and Founder of the Common Ground Foundation, hosted the 3rd Annual Gala and Fundraiser presented by Coca-Cola at the Four Seasons in Chicago; an elegant event which raised funds for the organization and honored those who have climbed the ladder of success in their respected industry all the while, extending their hand to make a positive mark in the community.
“A mind is a terrible thing to waste,”is the well-known motto, which The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) stresses, reminds us to go above and beyond in society by being educated and empowered to purse limitless possibilities. The phrase “It takes teamwork to make the dream work” could summarize the launch event of AT&T and Case-Mate’s partnership with Grammy Award winning hip-hop artist and actor, COMMON; a man artistic in many creative platforms who used his artistic talent to design smartphone cases to support his nonprofit organization, The Common Ground Foundation.
